Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well! I recently encountered an issue with my SD card. I suddenly delete an important folder and lose them all. I had important photos and files stored that I desperately need to recover. I’ve tried recovering them in Windows Recycle Bin, but found nothing! Where do deleted SD files go? How can i recover files from my SD card! Anyone has any tips? I'd greatly appreciate it!

SD Card

Different from deleting files from internal hard drive, when you delete files from an SD card, they don’t go to the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (Mac) like files on your computer’s internal drive. Windows/macOS Recycle Bin/Trash only manages files on internal drives. External storage devices (SD cards, USB drives) bypass this system to save space and ensure cross-device compatibility (e.g., cameras, phones). Is it possible to recover files from an SD card? Yes, it is totally possible with proper methods.
